Mar del Plata is a great beach city and one of the most popular vacation spots for Argentinians . In the early 1900s, the spa town was reserved for the rich and famous. Today people from all over the country come here to enjoy the nature, the nightlife, the food, and, of course, the ocean and the beach,
One of the most popular places of the city’s northern area, La Perla, is a beautiful beach surrounded by a picturesque neighborhood. It’s beautiful to stay here part or even an entire day at the beach, and then explore the area. You can walk along the coastline to the fort and enjoy the ocean. You can go shopping in Mar del Plata’s city center. You can spend your evening in an elegant restaurant, watch the tango dancers and finish the night in one of the dance clubs of the city.
Mar del Plata’s combination of a big city and resort is perfect. It allows for learning about Argentina’s culture and history besides enjoying what most people enjoy–a beautiful ocean front.
